Welcome! My name is Danielle Hayden and I am a multi-genre writer, a Resident at the Seattle Public Library, and a teaching artist. I work with students in the WITS (Writers in the Schools) program and I currently serve as the Interim Director of Golf Pencil Group, an organization that teaches creative writing to people surviving trauma and incarceration and to people in transitional housing. As you can tell, my life is largely centered around words and (despite being more introverted) connecting with people! I also created the website 3pistolary.com, which encourages people to write and send three personal letters, and an initiative called Words of Remembrance, where I create pet obituaries and memorials for others.
